Russell SteveRUSSELL, Steven EdwardIt is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Steven Edward Russell, on Monday April 13, 2020 at the age of 47.

Steve will be lovingly remembered by his parents Bob and Freda, his brother Mike, sister-in-law Andrea, and his nieces Meagan, Lindsey and Caitlyn.

Steve will also be fondly remembered by his aunts, uncles, cousins as well as his countless number of friends and their families.

Steve was loved for his love of life, love of riding on the open road, his love of sports, his humour, his smile, his generosity and of course his love for others. You could not be around him and not hear a crazy story or have him talking in a crazy voice, he always found a way to bring a smile to your face and could lighten the mood for any occasion.

He taught us all how to live for what was important, to do the right thing, treat people the right way and above all else let those you love know how you feel about them every chance you can. A real hug and kiss was how you greeted and also how you said “until we see each other again.”

A Celebration of Life will be held once social gatherings are once again permitted. Arrangements with Giffen-Mack funeral home, Scarborough chapel, Toronto.

Those wishing to make a donation in Steve’s memory can do so at the Toronto Hospital for Sick Children/ www.sickkidsfoundation.com.

May the sun rise in front of me, the rain fall behind me and the wind follow me.
May the Angels guard my travels for they know what is ahead of me.
Keep me safe through rolling hills and swirling turns.
Let the eagle guide me to the mountain tops.
Let the moons light guide me through the night.
Lord, thank you for letting me be a biker.
