Piercey FredPIERCEY, Frederick William 'Fred' - Fred passed away peacefully on Tuesday June 9th, 2020 after a tough battle with cancer.

Fred enjoyed a proud 35 year career as an electrician with a strong work ethic and he retired in 2014. Fred will be fondly remembered for his great kindness and generosity and helped many people throughout his life.

Thank you to his closet friends Andrew, Tom and Art who were by his side every day throughout this very tough time.

Fred was predeceased by Mom Alice & Father James. Brother of Richard & Wife Beverley and Brother Eddie & Wife Dianna. Uncle of Nephew Trevor / Bradley (predeceased) and Nieces Dawne & Krystal.

Fred was one of a kind and there will never be another person in our lives who was so strong. As his brother, I was glad I was there to give him strength and love.

Due to the current situation and limit on gatherings, we are going to postpone Fred’s service. As soon as we are able to hold larger gatherings, we will get in touch. Should you wish to attend, please send an email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and we will contact you when we have a date.

The family would like to thank all the nurses & staff at Bayshore, VON Nursing and Esmar nursing. They were a tremendous help during this time.

Thank you Fred for being in all our lives and for the amazing memories we will cherish always...

In lieu of flowers, any donation in Fred’s name to the Bayshore Healthcare for all their coordination of fantastic homecare. Website: www.bayshore.ca or VON Nursing: www.von.ca.
