Goldsmith MarciaGOLDSMITH, Marcia (Lang) - After a lengthy illness, with great courage and strength, in Montreal on Thursday, June 11, 2020, in her eighty-sixth year.

Much loved and cherished wife of the late Dillon Goldsmith.

Daughter of the late Harry and the late Freda Lang.

Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Andy and Marie, Keith and Lynne, and Jay and Lesley.

Cherished 'GrandmaMontreal' of Sydney and Zachary.

Dearest sister and sister-in-law of Elaine and Avrum Stark, and Lillian Wolfe; and sister-in-law of Eleanor and the late Morris Rickel, and late Murray Goldsmith.

She will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Mom graduated teaching college and taught at elementary school because she adored children and watching them grow. She always saw the beauty in life in such fine detail. She loved art, music, dance, theatre, travel, sailing and skiing.

The family is enormously grateful to her caregivers, Sarah and Saneboo, for their devotion and care, as well as to Elana and the rest of the staff at the Waldorf Residence.

A private graveside service will take place in Montreal.

Contributions in Marcia's memory may be made to the Alzheimer Groupe.
