Williams NevilleWILLIAMS, Neville Stanley - It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of Neville Williams of Bramalea, Ontario on Friday, August 28, 2020, after a courageous battle with COPD.

His death was not COVID related. He died at home with Katie, his beloved wife of 50 years at his side.

He has been reunited in Heaven with his parents, Stanley and Edna, his mother-in-law Annie, his sisters-in-law Mary, Josephine, Ann, and brother-in-law Walter.

Neville was born in the Isle of Sheppey, Kent, England in 1943 and came to Canada with his parents at he age of 10. Upon competing school, he joined the printing trade, a profession he followed for 40 years until his retirement. After retirement, he supported the Peel Region community as a school bus driver, and was much-loved by the children he safely transported.

Neville is survived by his wife Katie, brothers-in-law Nick, Fred, and Steve, his sister-in-law Frances (Marcel), and a multitude of nieces, nephews, and grand-nieces and nephews. He will be deeply missed by his many friends and neighbours, especially Doug and Joyce, and Pete and Nickie.

Enormous thanks to Allan, Pamela, and their children. More than mere next-door-neighbours, this very special family has shown astonishing kindness, compassion, and generosity over the years, and Neville loved Allan like an “adopted son”.

Special thanks to Dr.H. Manning, and particularly to the first responders who attended to Neville at this home. Your compassion, gentleness and professionalism is greatly appreciated by Katie and the family.

Arrangements with Andrews funeral home, Brampton. A private viewing for the family will be held, followed by a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 940 North Park Drive, Brampton, Ontario on September 3rd. Neville will rest in Assumption Cemetery, Mississauga, Ontario.
