McFADDEN, Reatha Lillian - Born February 26, 1932 in Gormley, Ontario. Peacefully passed away on September 1, 2020 at Bethany Lodge in Unionville, Ontario, with her family by her side.
Lovingly remembered by her children Susan (Mark), John (Jaclyn Beder), and Donald (Antonia), her grandchildren Adam, Elijah, Evelyn, Abigail, Logan, John, and Christine, her siblings Carol (Clarence), Mary, Margaret (John), as well as her brother Bruce and sister Alma who preceded her in death.
As a person, Reatha never hesitated to lend a helping hand to anybody. Her strong, unwavering faith in her Saviour gave her the strength, hope, and patience to raise 3 strong and beautiful children, all while balancing a full nursing career.
Reatha was a well respected RN in East General and North York hospitals in Toronto.
There will be a private family burial at Heise Hill cemetery on Friday September 4th, where she will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband John, who went before her 9 1/2 yrs ago.
We greatly appreciate all the kindness and compassion showed by the staff at Bethany Lodge.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society and Heise Hill Church would be appreciated.
