Connolly SusanCONNOLLY, Susan Francis (Gallagher) - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing on September 6, 2020 of Susan who was a pillar to her family and her community.

She will be forever missed by her daughters Michelle Connolly and Erin Tedder.

She was their number one cheerleader.

Susan was an amazing Baba to Julian, Darrien, Rachel, Aidan, Conner and Kyle.

She will be missed by her caring sons-in-law and many friends.

She would sit out on the deck with all of the kids and enjoy their company and laughs.

Doting great grandmother to Mya and JJ. With Ireland in her soul, she will be missed by her sisters Hannah, Patsy, and Tina together with her brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews.

Always volunteering and speaking out to make the community a better place for all, she put her heart into organizing annual Christmas parties for the kids and seniors and making sure everyone was included and invested. Susan volunteered her time to outreach programs to feed the homeless and always had a few dollars in her pocket to share with those in need.

Susan served on many boards and committees including St. John’s Catholic Church. Serving on with the Catholic Women’s League, she volunteered to bring the sacrament to those not able to attend a mass.

Susan was passionate about politics and worked for the NDP party for many years, canvassing and driving those who couldn’t, to polling stations and serving as a pollster herself.

At 77 Susan did the CN Tower Edgewalk without flinching…it was her idea. Her forthright and caring nature will be missed by all who had the fortune to be in her company.
