PANICCIA, Domenico - On Wednesday, September 9th, Domenico passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home, at the age of 84, surrounded by his entire family.

The world lost an amazing man who gave his whole heart to see others smile.

Domenico was a strong, kind, and loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend. Domenico had a playful energy that filled the room. His warmth and sense of humour made you feel close and comforted by him.

There was never a moment where he wasn’t offering something to you, a testament to his deep-rooted generosity and hospitality within his home. And that’s who Domenico was; his home was your home, and we will all miss being in his space so much.

Domenico was a devoted, loving and supportive husband to his late wife Giuseppina. Together, they immigrated from Italy to Canada in 1964 to build a beautiful life and instilled values of unconditional love, hard work, and togetherness within their family and community.

Domenico will be greatly missed by his children: Gary Paniccia (Angie); Angela Paniccia Sica (Thomas); and Fiorella Niceforo (Remo).

His strong legacy will be proudly carried by his seven grandchildren: Melissa (Lee), Alicia (Markus), David, Michael, Luca, Jack, Lauren, and his great grandchild Leo.

Domenico leaves behind his dear sister Lucia Rossi (Tony).

Domenico will be undoubtedly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

While we all feel the intense loss of this beautiful man, yet we are reminded that he cultivated a life of love, laughter and tremendous happiness. We know he’s watching over us, to keep us smiling and living, just as he did when he was physically present.

Visitation will be held at Bernardo Funeral Homes, Dufferin Chapel, Toronto on Sunday, September 13th, 2020 from 2:00pm - 4:00pm and 6:00pm - 9:00pm. The service is private.
