Thomson TomTHOMSON, Thomas (Tom) Henderson - It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Tom on September 17, 2020 in his 83rd year.

Tom was born in Glasgow, Scotland, but called Canada his home.

He was pre-deceased by his beloved wife of 44 years, Grace (nee Tolmie).

Loving and devoted father of Heather (Carson Donahee).

Cherished grandfather of Michael Donahee.

Tom is survived by his sister Catherine Moody of Palm Beach, Australia.

Loving uncle to Shevaun Moody (Jamie Jablonski), Robyn Moody (Jodie Foley) and Fraser Tolmie (Cassandra).

Tom was a loving father and grandfather who devoted his life to his family.

He was the number one fan of his grandson and the Brampton 45s 2008 AA minor hockey team. Tom enjoyed cheering on his grandson and his minor hockey teammates and attended as many of his grandson’s games as he could over the many years.

The family would like to thank the staff at Greenway Retirement Home for the great care they have provided to Tom over the past 5 years and especially to the care they have provided in keeping their residents safe during the COVID-19 pandemic.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Canadian Tire Jumpstart Foundation or SickKids Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family as your expression of sympathy.

ICOVID-19 Restrictions will apply.  Visitation and service will be restricted to limited number of family members and friends at a time. Family and friends will be welcomed to a visitation on Friday, September 25 from 1-1:30pm. We apologize for any inconvenience but ask that you keep Tom in your thoughts and prayers.

The service for Tom will be a private family event.

The service will be live streamed beginning at approximately 2:00 pm on Friday, September 25th, 2020 via the link below:
