LEFKOWITZ, Louis -  Louis (Leibla) Lefkowitz passed away on October 2, 2020 at North York General Hospital resulting from an ongoing illness.

Lovingly remembered by his adoring wife of 63 years, Myrna. Dear father to Elliott Lefkowitz (Sharon Brooks), Perry Lefko (Jane) and predeceased by his loving daughter, Robyn Lefkowitz (Olav Ha-Sholom). May they be united again eternally in spirit, Baruch Hashem.

Very proud Zaidy to Ben and Shayna Lefko and Jacob Lefkowitz Brooks.

Youngest son of the late Harry and Bella Lefkowitz. Predeceased by his siblings Max Lefkowitz and sister Goldie Plotkin (Isaac). Loving brother-in-law of Mynne Lefkowitz. Uncle and great uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Special thank you to Dr. Sid Nusinowitz and Dr. Bradley Strauss for their constant care and support. Thank you to the staff of North York General Hospital, the personal support workers of the Toronto Central Local Health Integration Network and B’nai Brith Canada.

He will be remembered as an original member of the Bagel World Boys and the Sunday morning Pray and Play Gang at the Downtown YMHA, and a longtime congregation member of Beth Emeth Bais Yehuda synagogue. He loved to pray and represented his religion faithfully.

A special thank you to Gert and the late William Nyman and their family members for being loving and supporting friends.
