Puopolo RosariaPUOPOLO, Rosaria - It is with great sadness that we mourn the passing of our mother on October 1, 2020, at the age of 95.

Predeceased by her dear husband Felice and her sister Rosina.

Cherished mother of Angela (Antonio) and Rocchina (Rocco). Proud nonna to Carmela, Lillian, Sebrina, Frances (Franco), Filippe (Christina) and Lucille. Loving great grandmother of Alicia, Joshua, Mila, Isabelle, Charlotte, and Clara.

Survived by six brothers and sisters in Toronto, Italy, and Australia.

She was a strong and independent woman. Her great spirit will always be in the hearts and memories of her family and friends.

Visitation will be held at the Vescio Funeral Home “Toronto Chapel” (2080 Dufferin Street) on Monday, October 5th from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m., and from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Tuesday, October 6th, at 9:30 a.m. at St. John Bosco Roman Catholic Church (402 Westmount Avenue). A private entombment to follow at Prospect Cemetery.

Due to number restrictions, we ask that only family and extended family can be in attendance at the funeral home and cemetery on the day of the funeral.

We are encouraging all friends to come to the funeral home during the visitation periods if you are comfortable and refrain from any physical contact between family and guests. Public visitations can take place at our Toronto Chapel with a maximum of 40 people in attendance at any given time.

At St. John Bosco Church, the maximum capacity is 50 people (once maximum capacity has been reached no exceptions will be made to allow for more guests to enter).

It is mandatory for family and friends attending the church and cemetery to wear masks.
Please bring your mask with you to the church, and cemetery. If you are not wearing a mask, you will not be permitted to attend the service at the church or cemetery.

The Bereavement Authority of Ontario has posted their guidelines of what we are able to do.
