BACKWELL, Sandra Jean - Peacefully on Sunday, October 4th, 2020 at the Etobicoke General Hospital.
Predeceased by her loving husband Gerald. Cherished mother to Penny (Cedric) Calippe and Mike (Violet).
Dear Nana to Zachary and Mathieu.
Sandra will be missed by her sister Lee DeBerry-Jerace (Steve Jerace). Dear sister-in-law to Dave (Crystal) Davey. Sandra will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and many friends.
To honour Sandra’s wishes, private family cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements with Newediuk funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated by the family.
