Trayner JeanetteTRAYNER, Jeanette Marie (nee LaDouceur) - Jeanette Marie Trayner, nee LaDouceur, after a mercifully brief illness, passed away in the early dawn hours of Wednesday October 7, 2020. She was in her 95th year.

Born in Ottawa, ON, the family moved to Toronto in her teenage years. Being the daughter of a Pastry Chef, she adored eclairs, especially his.

Graduating from Northern Technical school, Jeannette finished her working life as the volunteer co-ordinator for the Veterans wing, Sunnybrook hospital. However, her passion was for amateur theatricals, where she met her predeceased husband “Jack” (John Michael) Trayner.

In her last few years, Jeannette resided at The Wexford, whose compassionate and supportive care were deeply appreciated by both Jeannette and her Family.

Jeannette is survived by her three children: Michael, Gerard, and Dianne; Four grandchildren Stephanie, Jeremy, Jonathan and Jennifer; and her four great grandchildren Cara, Evie, Sophie and Alanna.

Arrangements with Paul O'Connor funeral home, Scarborough. A graveside service will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery, Thornhill at 11:00 am on Friday October 9th. Please, as appropriate, observe rules of social distancing, mask wearing and hand washing. A limited back yard reception to follow.
