MacDonald MargaretMacDONALD, Margaret Valentine – Passed away peacefully on Thursday October 8, 2020 at Margaret Bahen Hospice in Newmarket at the age of 88.

Beloved wife of the late Walter MacDonald. Sadly, missed by daughter Lynn Lord and son Kevin. Margaret always said, “we were born in her heart not under it.” She is the proud grandmother of Liam and Alexandria Lord.

Margaret and her husband Walter owned Walmar Antiques and Estate Sales. She helped found Thornhill Soccer Club and ran Thornhill Community Centre Antique Show.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, Newmarket. Cremation will take place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Margaret Bahen Hospice, 652 Queen St, Newmarket, ON L3Y 2J1, would be appreciated.

“I'll love you forever, I'll like you for always, as long as I'm living, your mother & grandma I'll be."

MOTHER

M is for the million things she gave me,
O means only that she is growing old,
T is for the tears she shed to save me,
H is for her heart of purest gold,
E is for her ears to hear my cries,
R means right and right she'll always be.
Put them all together and they spell MOTHER, a word that means the world to me.
~by Alfred Ernest Plaskett

Forever grateful for your unconditional love and patience. You never gave up, even when you should have. You will be in my thoughts.

Love, Kevin.
