Hrycay WilliamHRYCAY, William - It is with a heavy heart and much sadness that I announce the sudden passing of my dear husband, William Hrycay on October 9, 2020, at the age of 85 years.

Cherished and much loved husband of Sylvia (nee Vasile) of 59 years.

William will be sadly missed by his brothers and sisters; Max (predeceased), Olga Mazuren (predeceased), Morris (Vancouver), Helen Reed (predeceased), Martha Farnell (Calgary), and Andrew ( Melville, SK), as well as his sisters-in-law and brother-in-law Mary Vasile (predeceased), Ealine Rosom, Diane Orchard, Ethel Marinescu (predeceased), Joe Vasile (predeaced), and Anne Lechinsky (predeceased), and Anne Lechinsky (predeceased).

He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who loved him very much.

William was born and raised in Aran, Saskatchewan and eventually made Toronto his home with Sylvia.

Although William never had children of his own, he was a kind, gentle and loving Uncle to many nephews and nieces, who will miss him dearly. He was also a very talented generous and skilled woodworker and many family and friends will remember him through his works of love.

Arrangements with Paul O'Connor funeral home, Scarborough. As per William's wishes, cremation has taken place.
