Kuburovski AleksandarKUBUROVSKI, Aleksandar - It is with great sadness to announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, Aleksandar Kuburovski on October 10, 2020 peacefully and suddenly at his home at the age of 92.

Beloved husband to Lubica, father to Liljana (late Done) and Nikola (Silvana), grandfather to Christine (George), Lena (Sandro), John (Domenica), Diana (Patrick), Daniel (Rosie), and great grandfather to Nicolas, Sofia, Francesco, Luca, Dante, Amaya, Dalia, Julian, Mila, Adrian, Juliana and Matthew.

Aleksandar was born in Porodin, Macedonia on May 29, 1928 as the middle child of three.

He married Lubica in 1950 and had two children together. His journey to find a better life for his family started from Macedonia to Australia, back to Macedonia for a short time and finally settled in Canada for the rest of his life. During his life in Canada, his family of 4 grew to 28, that included 5 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

He was a hard working man, spent most of his working life as a heavy equipment operator to support his family. He also made great contributions to the Macedonian community in the Greater Toronto area.

After his retirement he spent a lot of his time helping to build the Macedonian Orthodox Church, St. Dimitrija Solunski in the City of Markham.

He was well respected by everyone that new him, both for having a great family and his contribution to the community.

Most importantly he was and is a great inspiration to his grandchildren and great grandchildren!

What more can anyone ask out of life!

Arrangements with Dixon - Garland Funeral Home, Markham. The service will take place at St. Dimitrija Solunski Macedonian Orthodox Church, 201 Mian St. N. Markham on Thursday, October 15, 2020 at 12:00 pm
