MARIANAYAGAM, Philomena Blossom (Thambypillai) - It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our mother and grandmother in her Toronto home on October 28, 2020.
Philomena was born in Pandatharippu Jaffna, Sri Lanka.
She and her husband, the late Bastiampillai Emmanuel Marianayagam were both school grade teachers and taught together in Sri Lanka and Africa.
Philomena had four children Camillus Mano (Shirany), the late Lumen Beno (Canishyia), Joseph Kano and Liza (Anton).
She was a loving grandmother to Jasmine, Tessa, Justina, Alexine, Abby and Jeremy.
She will be remembered as a very pious woman and a passionate educator.
Due to circumstances surrounding pandemic, the family wishes to have the service observed privately. And we thank you in advance for your understanding.
