LEE, Margaret Ann (nee SIMMONS) - (1953 - 2020) - Passed peacefully on October 31, 2020 at Royal Victoria Region Health Centre in Barrie, ON.
She will be dearly missed by her parents Bernice and Ted Simmons.
Beloved mother of Janet (John) Holden and Christopher (Kaelyn) Lee. Adoring grandmother to Victoria, Larissa, Scarlett and Hudson.
Dear sister to Ted Jr. (Cheryl), Raymond, and Brian (Lydia). Precious aunt to Brittany.
Margaret will be remembered by her Aunt Doreen (Slav) Kunicki, Uncle Harry (Lillian) Simmons, and Uncle Richard. She will be deeply missed by her caring companion Vern, who will now be taking care of her adored pets.
Margaret was a long-standing member with the Lake Shore Loyal Order of Moose, where she was a past Senior Regime. She was also a former employee of Carlton Cards and St. Joseph’s Hospital.
Visitation (RESPECTING COVID RESTRICTIONS) will take place at Ridley Funeral Home (3080 Lake Shore Blvd. W., Toronto) on Friday, November 6th from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm and 6:00pm to 8:00pm.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 7th at 11:00 am in the Chapel of the funeral home.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the capacity of the funeral home’s facilities is limited. Attendees may have to wait to be admitted, and will be expected to wear a mask and respect social distancing guidelines.
