CHRISTOPOULOS, Roula (Kantaras) - It is with profound sadness that we announce the peacefully passing of Roula of natural causes on November 3, 2020, in her 87th year.
She was born in Nea Tenodos, in the beautiful Halkidiki region of Greece.
Loyal wife of John, devoted mother of Nick (Maria), and loving grandmother of Natasha and Joanna.
Roula was a doting mother and grandmother. She was a kind and compassionate person, who many have described as having “a heart of gold.” She was an excellent cook, and many of her friends and relatives had the pleasure of enjoying her culinary creations, which she generously shared with everyone.
A devout Christian, Roula enjoyed attending church and reading her bible.
She will be terribly missed by her friends and family in Canada, Florida, and Greece.
A funeral service will take place at 1:30, on Saturday, November 7, at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 30 Thorncliffe Park Drive. A burial will follow.
