BEST, Noah - Our dear father Noah Best passed away on December 16th, 2020, at the age of 95.
Predeceased by his late wife Nellie Vincent in 1986, son-in-law George, sister Francis, brother Almer.
He will be deeply missed by all his family. Children Yvonne, Linda (Doyle), Marlene (Steve), Pauline (Byron). Wife Eva (nee Whalen), stepchildren Gloria and Christine and grandchildren Amanda, Adam and Norman; great-grandson Austin, brother Harrison; and many more family and friends.
A special thanks to the staff at Trilogy LTC who cared for him over the last years of his life.
Noah is best known for a smile and joking around. He loved to fish in his early years, camping with family and friends. He also loved to swim, go for coffee and some very very long walks. His faith was important as well.
He worked in the construction industry, a proud member of Ironworkers Local 721and a Veteran from WW2, serving in the Merchant Marines."
Funeral Services have been entrusted to Giffen-Mack Funeral Home in West Hill, Ontario. Due to COVID-19, services will be private and for immediate family only.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made out to The Heart & Stroke Foundation in him name.
