Kernaghan JeanKERNAGHAN, Jean Donaldson - On December 16, 2020 at the age of 92, Jean Donaldson Kernaghan passed away peacefully at Bough Beeches Place, her home for the past six years.

Loved wife of Norman (1919-2015).

Loving and caring mother to Margaret-Jean (David) Morandin and John (Kirsty) Kernaghan. Proud Grandma to Andrea, Nicole, Eloise and Tristan.

Jean is survived by her sisters Ruth Madill and Betty Woolley. Predeceased by her brothers James and Lawrence and sister Margaret.

Jean had an amazing sense of humour and always had a smile on her face. She was known for the mischievous twinkle in her bright blue eyes and her kind and loving nature. Jean was the sports (Maple Leafs) fan, ice skating, country music loving, chocolate chip baking laughter around the house, but most of all she was a great mum who always ensured her children came first.

We would like to thank all the incredible staff at Bough Beeches Place for the love and care Jean received. She was very happy living there and enjoyed the friends she made with staff and residents.

Arrangements entrusted with Ward funeral homes. A private family service will be held on Monday, December 21st with interment at Sanctuary Park Cemetery. The family would like to thank John Douglas for coming to Toronto to perform the burial service.

Memorial Donations to Alzheimer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
