Corbie RadcliffeCORBIE, Radcliffe   - Known simply and infamously as Corbie, passed away peacefully and unexpectedly on December 18, 2020, at age 87.

Born in 1933 in San Fernando, Trinidad, Corbie immigrated to Canada in 1957 to attend the University of British Columbia.

He brought his roots with him, carrying out his love of cricket as a bowler on a UBC team, and never lost his impressive dance moves, returning for Carnival even in his eighties, not to mention his hot sauce made from home grown peppers that required a plastic spoon for serving (and a warning label for the average person).

After teaching school for several years in Rossland and Prince Rupert, BC, Corbie moved to Toronto in 1970 with his wife, Sharon. Together they built a life in Scarborough, surrounded by dear friends and one very beloved dog, Tobi.

Corbie is lovingly remembered and greatly missed by friends and family around the world in Canada, Tinidad and Tobago, the UK, US and Spain.

But most of all by Sharon, his wife of 56 years, who is heartbroken and would like to remind him that she was to go first.

Corbie was never one for fuss, and so to honour his wishes and COVID restrictions, there will be no funeral services.

However, he would indulge anyone who wishes to raise a glass to his honour - his only ask would be to make it the good stuff.
