RITCHIE, Madeleine Lauzon - 1927 - 2020 Sadly, the journey of life has to come to an end for Madeleine who passed away at the age of 93 on December 17 last in Boucherville, QC.
Predeceased by her son Eric (1965-1983). She leaves behind her best friend and spouse of 63 years Robert, her loving children Michael (Danielle Vertefeuille), Gail (Gaétan Poirier), Andrew (Laurence Lecomte), and wonderful grandchildren Dérick, Francis, Patrick, Melissa, Catherine, Émilie and Alexis.
Born and raised in Montréal, QC. She brought up her family in Beloeil, QC and then moved on with her spouse to spend the last 35 years in Thornhill, ON. Her life was fulfilled with travel.
Madeleine's philosophy of life was to Love, Share and Listen.
This she practiced all her life and touched people whom she met with her elegance and understanding.
She never lost sight of the simple things that brought joy to her life and that of others.
She touched all of us in an incredibly special way.
The final voyage will be to join her son Eric along the banks of the Richelieu River in Beloeil, QC.
A final remembrance for Madeleine will be held privately with family at a later time .
