VAVOUGIOS. Nicholas - It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that our family announces the passing of Nicholas Vavougios. Nicholas was born in Agios Nikolaos, Greece on June 27, 1927 and passed away peacefully in his home on Saturday January 9, 2021.
Beloved husband of Stavroula.
Loving father of George and Mary and father-in-law of Joanne.
Devoted grandfather of Nicholas.
He will be very fondly remembered by all his family and friends as a very kind, gentle and caring man who valued his family above all else.
Visitation and service will take place on Wednesday January 13, 2021 starting at 9 am at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church with burial to follow. Due to ongoing COVID-19 restrictions, the service and burial cannot be made open to any family or friends that have not been already informed of same.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society of Toronto would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
