Rigitano FrancescoRIGITANO, Francesco - It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved Francesco on Monday February 8, 2021 at the age of 82 years.

Francesco is now reunited in heaven with his dear parents Rosa and Giovanni.

For 63 wonderful years Francesco was the best friend and loving husband of Teresa. Francesco was the cherished father of John and his wife Marie, Joe and his wife Joanne and Angelo and his wife Franca.

He was the devoted nonno of Frank and his wife Mary, Alexandria and her partner Gianluca, Chris and Joseph. He will always be the greatest bisnonno of Nathan.

Francesco was the loving brother of Antonio, Carmela, Ida, Luigi (predeceased), Fortunato (predeceased), Mario (predeceased), Joe (predeceased), Angelina (predeceased), Ursella (predeceased) and Maria (predeceased).

Francesco will be deeply missed by all his family, friends and all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, donations in loving memory of Francesco to the Heart and Stroke foundation would be appreciated by the family.

Arrangements entrusted with Scott funeral home, Brampton chapel. In light of the current global pandemic with the present restrictions placed on group gatherings by the government, attendance at the funeral home and cemetery has been restricted to a maximum capacity of 10 people. As a result, the visitation, service and entombment will take place in private.

For the health and well-being of everyone, we respectfully request that attendees at the funeral home and cemetery comply with current by-laws by observing social and physical distancing and wearing masks. 

Your understanding, condolences and continued support are very much appreciated during this very difficult time. All are encouraged to share words of comfort, stories and photos with the family via the funeral home's website.
