Steve was an intelligent man, a conspiracy theorist and a poet. He was athletic, but not a jock. He embraced the world through music, with a guitar in his hands most of his adult life. He sang in a choir featured on 100 Huntley street and performed his own original music with the Toronto Sympathy Orchestra and Chorus.

He led a troubled life, burdened by Schizophrenia and spent a lot of time in and out of the hospital over the years.

It wasn’t until his involvement with Progress Place that he started making more positive and helpful connections that landed him an apartment through Mainstay Housing where he was able to maintain a stable address for over 30 years.

Due to the Covid-19 restrictions, all services are private & by invite only.
