KIRBY, Lesley - Lesley J. Kirby, 64, died on February 10, 2021, in her Toronto home as a result of pancreatic cancer.
She was surrounded by family in her final moments.
A longtime teacher at Frenchman's Bay Public School in Pickering, Lesley was a strong advocate for literacy and devoted her energies to student achievement.
She is survived by her husband Johan, daughter Lorien, son Roland and 2 grandchildren.
A memorial service is planned at the conclusion of the COVID-19 pandemic.
