SHARP, William Morris - August 3, 1937 – February 8, 2021
Surrounded by his wife and 3 kids, Bill passed away peacefully, in the home he loved in Oakville, after a long and mighty fight against CML.
Bill, most fondly called "Sharpie", was born in Montreal, where he met his wife Gail.
They married in '67, and had 3 children before moving to Oakville in '82.
He is survived by his wife Gail, and their kids, Andrew, Pam and Kerri, their spouses and his 4 grandchildren, his two siblings Brian Sharp (Patty) Sally Sharp (Gary Orkney).
Willy worked in the investment industry for 60 years, not retiring until 80! An avid skier, paddler, musician, and National Geographic collector (every issue since 1952!), Willy and Gail loved to travel, with paddling and outrigger adventures taking them as far as the South Pacific, Europe, and all over Canada and the US.
Never shy of a good party or adventure, he moves on knowing he is loved and had a positive impact on so many.
A special thank you to Dad's doctors Dr. Blair Ernst at CVH and Dr. Dennis Kim at PMH. Willy is being cremated, and when the time is right, we will have a celebration in his honour.
In lieu of flowers, Willy would love to thank and support Stephen Cull at CharterAbility www.charterability.com or the Credit Valley Hospital Foundation.
