Holt MaryHOLT, Mary Althea (nee Storey) - It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Althea Holt (nee Storey) on Friday February 12th, 2021 in her 54th year.

Loving wife of Peter Holt, and devoted mother to Sarah, Eric (Montana), and Melissa.

Adored daughter of Loretta and Ivan Storey, and precious sister of Lester, Kevin, and Keith.

Cherished by a large extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and god-children.

Mary was born in Chennai (Madras) India and raised in Etobicoke. Graduate of Michael Power Secondary School and Humber College.

Over the years Mary worked in Japan and at Disney World, Florida which aligned with her love of adventure and travel. She continued her passion as a much-respected employee of Marriott Hotels.

Over the years Mary lived life to the fullest and the following represents what she embodied:

· Zest for life

· Infectious personality

· Loved to dance

· Great host of big family parties

· Life of the party

· Joe Montana and San Fran. 49ers fan

· Played basketball at Humber College

· Had a great football arm

· Often came to her brothers’ defense in their early years

· Always a great baker and provider of sweets

· Became a fantastic cook and was proud of her Indian dishes

· Most happy at home with her family

· First to plan a special experience for her extended family

· Guaranteed attendee at every recital and sporting event

· Most enthusiastic participant in all RIO Club events

· The most thoughtful and caring person

· Making time to remember all the small details (birthdays, anniversaries, etc.)

· Queen of Bitmoji and the FAM JAM chat

The Holt family would like to thank the staff of Trillium Health Partners, especially the kind and attentive oncology and emergency staff at Credit Valley Hospital in Mississauga, and to the staff of Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto.

A drive thru visitation will be held in the funeral home's spacious outdoor canopy in the rear parking lot. Visitation will take place on Monday February 15th from 1:00-5:00pm. *Please RSVP on the funeral home website.
