COOKE, Barry David - It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Barry David Cooke at the age of 77 on Friday, February 12, 2021.
Devoted husband to Sandra (nee Steadman), and loving father to Marc (Ai), Marisa (Robert), Dwayne, and Krysta (Daniel).
Predeceased by his parents, Agnes (O’Neil) and Edwin Cooke, Barry was born in Oxford, England and spent his childhood in London and Dover. Barry had a long career as a Networking Engineer with British Telecom, Bell Canada, and TELUS, allowing him to pursue his passion of building things, working with computers, and learning from others.
Barry was a quiet man who loved to cook, explore books and music of all kinds, paint, and work with his hands at home and in the garden.
Arrangements entrusted with Ogden funeral home. A private memorial will be held on Thursday, February 18th. We thank you for your condolences and warm wishes at this time.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy can be in the form of donations to Providence Healthcare.
Barry will be missed by family and friends, but we take great comfort in knowing that his faith prepared him to pass peacefully and that he knew he was loved.
