SALAJ, Patricia (Zounek) - At the age 87 of Mississauga passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, February 13, 2021 surrounded by family.
Born in Manhattan, New York, USA to the late Joseph & Katherine Zounek on March 23rd, 1933.
She immigrated to Toronto, Canada in June, 1954, married and started a family.
Patricia enjoyed spending her retirement with her family at the cottage in The Blue Mountains.
Patricia will be dearly missed by her children Frank (Mary) Salaj, [late] John ([late] Cecilia) Salaj, Susan (Jerry) Wiscombe, Eddy Salaj, Karl Salaj, Janet (Ivano) Salaj-Palmerini.
Patricia will also be dearly missed by her grandchildren Patricia (Graeme) Tolton, Carla (Andre) Salaj-Solecki, [late] Tracey Salaj, Holly (Jon) Hillman, Stephanie Salaj, Nicole (Eamon Carey) Salaj, Stacey (Nick Tucci) Salaj, Marcus Palmerini and Joshua White as well as her great-grandchildren Lillian, Julia, Peyton, Patrick, Owen, Madison, Isabella, Quinn and Aniela.
There will be a private family service at DeMarco Funeral home, Woodbridge. Patricia’s life will be celebrated with friends and family at a later date.
In lieu of flowers and as your expression of sympathy, donations can be made in Patricia’s name to War Amps, SPCA or a charity of your choice.
