ROMANI, Liliana - (1925 - 2021) - Liliana Romani, who loved to be called Mamma by her children, departed her loving family on February 15th, 2021.
Liliana was born on October 29th, 1925 in Monterotondo, Italy.
Beloved wife to the late Vincenzo Romani and loving mother to Nando (Jill), Aldo (Inese), Enzo (Rose) and Piero (Karen). Proud nonna to Adrienne, Tina, Mareena, Vincent, Matthew and Peter. Cherished bisnonna to Gabriella and Brooklyn.
Loving sister to the late Elsa (Achille), Sara (Mario), and Luigino (Saveria). Much loved by her nieces, nephews and many friends in Canada and Italy.
Liliana’s greatest love was her family. She loved to host gatherings in their home welcoming everyone to delicious meals, laughter and good times. The Romani front door was always (literally) opened to visitors and all of her sons’ friends were warmly welcomed.
Another love Liliana enjoyed was sewing. She was very talented and made many of her own outfits and some for other family members too. She always had a needle and thread handy.
Liliana was loved by all who knew her and will truly be missed.
Arrangements entrusted with Scott funeral home, Mississauga chapel. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private viewing will be held on Monday, February 22nd for immediate family only. A prayer service will be live streamed on the funeral home website on Tuesday, February 23rd at 11:00 am
