MOSONYI, Alexandru - It is with deep regret and a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Alex on Monday February 15, 2021 surrounded by his wife and two children.
Alex was a loving husband to Raluca.
Beloved father to Nora and Andrei.
A great brother to Attila and a loving grandfather.
For those who knew Alex, he was a gentle, kind and loving man with a big heart and a great sense of humor that was able to brighten up anyone's day.
During his teaching career he became a legendary coach within the GTA showing his love for and great knowledge of football (soccer) and many other sports. He was a very well respected Phys-Ed teacher and a great mentor that taught many the notion of determination and dedication. He was an avid athlete at heart and a true inspiration to all in the name of any sport.
During Alex’s retirement he took up a great fondness in travelling. Him and his wife were seasoned globetrotters and fulfilled many dreams and checked multiple places from their places to visit. He was a humble and modest man although always took pride in dressing sharp and looking proper by sporting his neat yet professional mustache.
Alex will be deeply missed by family and friends and never forgotten.
The serice will take place at Chapel Ridge Funeral Home, Markham on Thursday, February 25th.
