BOYNTON, Ingrid Viola (Kulik) (Pettersson) - Our dear Ingrid passed away peacefully at the Sheppard Lodge in Scarborough, Ontario on March 8, 2021 at the age of 96 after a long battle with dementia.

Ingrid, daughter of the late Jenny Holme and Karl Pettersson was born in Lilla Edet, Sweden on April 22, 1924.

She was predeceased by her first husband, William Kulik, his son Tadeusz (Csezia) Kulik, and daughter Henia Kulik, her second husband Robert Boynton, his daughter Constance Boynton, her first son Stanley Kulik and her six siblings.

She is survived by her son Edward Kulik, daughter Yvette (Angelo) Santorelli, daughter Christine (Randall) Chaiet, stepsons David (Charlotte) Boynton, Edward (Lynn) Boynton, Rodney (Janice) Boynton. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

Ingrid met William Kulik in Sweden after the 2nd World War and followed him to Toronto, Canada in 1950 where they married and raised their four children until 1963 when she was widowed. She was remarried to Robert Boynton several years later in 1974 and was again widowed in 1991.

In her recent years living with the absolute best of Long-Term Care at Sheppard Lodge, with dementia getting worse, she genuinely loved everyone who cared for her. She always told her caregivers how beautiful and kind they were and was always so grateful for their tender care.

Ingrid loved and lived for her Lord, and no matter what difficulties life brought her way, she never waivered in her faith. She longed to be in heaven with Jesus and now she is with her Lord in Glory!

Oh, how we will miss her! Her love and warmth, her kind smile and words, her gentleness, and her genuine caring for everyone who knew her. This was her life, in fact, her joy of life.

We are now so grateful that she is free from pain and suffering, resting in her eternal, heavenly home!
Her life was blessed and was always a blessing to others.

And now these three remain: Faith, Hope and Love. But the greatest of these is Love.
1 Corinthians 13:13.
