Barker DonaldBARKER, Donald   - Of Port Dover, passed away peacefully, with his family by his side at home, on Wednesday, March 10, 2021, in his 95th year.

Predeceased by his beloved wife Jean (2004).

Cherished father of Donna of High River, AB, Beverley and her husband Tony of Rosseau, Debbie of Uxbridge and Brenda of Mississauga.

Proud and loving grandfather of 6 and great-grandfather of 13.

Dear brother of Mary Wilson and brother-in-law of Mike Sautner. Don will be missed by his many friends in Canada and Florida.

Predeceased by brothers Stewart and David, sister Catherine Sautner, brother-in-law Bill Wilson, and son-in-law Ken.

Don was a Veteran of the Canadian Army (1945-47). He retired from Chrysler Canada after a long career.

Don lived a very independent life until very recently when his daughters gave him a helping hand even though he said he didn't need it.

A special thank you to nurses Elana and Mary and also to PSW's Edgar, Walter, Ray and Kelsey. You all went "above and beyond" to help Dad the past few months.

He really appreciated all your hard work and efforts making his days more comfortable.

A Celebration of Don's Life will be held at a later date.

For those wishing, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
