TARASCHUK, Olga (Kowal) - 85, passed to join her beloved partner, the late Borden/Bohdan Taraschuk on April 15, 2021 in Toronto.

Loving daughter of the late Dimitri and Anne Kowal.

Cherished cousin of Sandra Shah (Pravin) and Sharon Pallin (Bill), aunt to Priya Shah (Franco) and Nayan, admired cousin of Dr. Luba Komar and brother Marco.

Loving Godmother to Karen, and adoring aunt to Karen’s two sisters Paula and Christina.

Although born in Toronto, Canada she was a true Ukrainian patriot who cherished her Ukrainian heritage. Fondly known as the “pysanky lady” for her exquisite Easter eggs, Olga enjoyed travelling, art, pysanky-writing, opera and Ukrainian folk art and music. Olga retired from her 40year career in the Federal Public Service in 1990.

Heartfelt thanks to family and dear friends for their love and support for Olga. Thank you to the team at Copernicus Lodge, for their diligent and thoughtful care over the last two years.

Forever in our hearts and memories.
