BUCKLEY, John Lewis (Lou)   -  Died peacefully on April 18, 2021 leaving to mourn his adored wife of 63 years, Clarice.

Proud father of his three children Barry (Renee) Buckley, Maureen (Victor) Amatruda, and John (Karen) Buckley.

He loved and was loved by his nine grandchildren Kevin (Michelle), Mark (Alicia), Lisa (Reza), Anthony, Melissa, Sarah (Greg), Robert, Nicole, and Julia.

He was also blessed to be a great-grandfather to Orr, Gray and Ava. He is survived by his sister Teresa MacLellan and several nieces and nephews. Lou was many things – a traveller, a gardener and a strategic bridge player.

He enjoyed his life filled with family, his friends, and time spent on the cottage front deck overlooking the lake in Muskoka. His genuine interest in others and his great smile will be dearly missed by all who loved him.

A private Funeral Mass will be held at his longtime parish, Blessed Trinity.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society.
