PELLEGRINO, Antonina - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Antonina Pellegrino on Wednesday April 21, 2021 at 77 years.
Antonina leaves behind her loving husband Antonio Pellegrino of 56 wonderful years. Proud mother of Cathy Giordano (Dominico Giordano) and Antonina Pellegrino.
Antonina was blessed with grandchildren; Maria Alexsandra Leite (Trevor Leite) and Luigi Vito Giordano, and great-grandchildren; Tiago Manuel Leite and Aurora Rose Leite.
Born July 2, 1943 in Sicily, Italy to Antonina and Vito Ciaravino, Antonina Pellegrino immigrated to Canada where she worked as a seamstress.
he is survived by her brothers and sisters; Benedetta Ciaravino (Giuseppe Navarra [deceased]) who reside in Italy, Giuseppe Ciaravino (Maria Ciaravino), Maria Stabile (Lorenzo Sabile) and Francesca Balsamo (Vincenzo Balsamo) who reside in Canada. Loved by her many nieces and nephews both in Canada and overseas. Antonina will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all her family and friends.
Due to the ongoing pandemic and resulting restrictions, the visitation and Mass of Christian Burial will be held by invitation only. Arrangements entrusted with Scott funeral home, Brampton chapel.
