Newbigging MargaretNEWBIGGING, Margaret (nee LAWRANCE)    - December 31, 1929 – June 1, 2021

Passed peacefully at home in her 91st year.

She leaves behind Ross, her loving husband of 64 years, sons Mark (Kathy) and Jim (Kerry), her sister Betty Bower (Gordon), niece Cathy and her nephews Randy, Bradley and Timothy.

Margaret attended Rawlinson Public School and Vaughan Road Collegiate in Toronto.

She was employed for many years at Bell Canada prior to venturing out into the Design and Decorating field by opening her own business, "Margaret Newbigging Interiors and Design Co."

Her entrepreneurial spirit allowed her to express her creativity and joy in assisting others.

Marg travelled extensively, with her favorite destination being Paris, France, which she considered her "second home."

Cremation has taken place with an interment to occur at Mount Pleasant Cemetery at a forthcoming date. Margaret leaves a beautiful legacy of her care for others.

She loved her family dearly and diligently worked to help those around her. Her kindness, compassion, and integrity were deeply inspiring.

The family appreciates the excellent care that Marg received and they would like to thank her care team, Amrita, Katrina, Leslie, Maggie, Bhuva, Kathyrine, Jocelyn, Dr. Kobulnik and D.D. McEwan.

The family would also like to extend a heartfelt "Thank You" to our longtime and very good friend, Anna.

Marg will be missed dearly by all of her friends whom she loved so much. In lieu of flowers, it is being requested that donations be made to the Lion's Foundation of Canada Dog Guides.

Freddy says "GOODNIGHT IRENE".
