McLean JackMCLEAN, John 'Jack' Duncan - August 20, 1933 – June 18, 2021 -

Dad passed away peacefully at Scarborough Centenary Hospital after a brief illness.

He will be dearly missed by his son Brian (Elizabeth) and daughter Diane.

Jack was predeceased by his wife of 51 years Allana.

They are now together for eternity.

He will be missed by many friends and relatives.

Jack spent his entire working life at Comstock International as a mechanical estimator.

When he retired his focus became caring for his wife Allana and then volunteering at his church – Church of the Master United Church then at St. Mark’s United Church.

We wish to thank the PSWs, nurses and doctors at Centenary Hospital for the wonderful care that they gave in his last days. Before his death dad resided at McCowan Retirement Residence and we wish to thank all the staff for their care.

A special thank you to the PSWs from Qualicare who gave such quality care to our father.

A private funeral and internment will be held on Thursday June 24, 2021.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Scarborough Centenary Hospital or St. Mark’s United Church building fund.

Due to COVID restrictions, the visitation and funeral services will be held privately by invitation only. While the family wishes you could all be with them in their time of loss, they appreciate your kind words and condolences.
