Smith StevenSMITH, Steven   -   It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Steven Alexander Smith.

Steven put on his angel wings on September 2, 2021.

He is survived by his loving and adoring parents, Norman and Celia, his children, Tara, and Ian (Natalie), his brother Tony, sisters Teresa and Louise, and his spouse Virpi.

He was predeceased by his daughter Alyssa, his granddaughter Piper, and his sister-in-law Patti.

He was also absolutely cherished and will be missed by his extended family here in Canada and abroad in Scotland: nieces Jacqueline, Shannon, and Alexis, nephews Graham, Cameron, and Kyle, uncles, aunts, cousins, and great-nieces and nephews.

Builder of all things, bike-riding enthusiast, music connoisseur, nature lover, former athlete, part-time aspiring golf savant and an avid sports fan with an interest in football (NY Giants devotee and proud wearer of his Liverpool hat!) – Steven was a gentle soul who will be deeply missed by the many people whose lives he touched.

An aquamation is scheduled for September 12, 2021. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Steven are asked to consider Tommy Thompson Park and Covenant House.
