LESHCHYSHEN, Rosalie (nee ANTONYSHYN) - 1928 - 2021 Rosalie (Ruth) Leshchyshen (nee Antonyshyn) of Toronto, Ontario, passed away peacefully, at Trillium Health Partners Hospital in Mississauga, on September 17, 2021, at the age of 92.
Predeceased by her husband Michael (November, 1992) and her parents Fred and Magda Antonyshyn.
Dear Mother of Bohdan (Myroslava) and Dmytro (Luba).
Grandmother to Oleh, Orest (Lindsay), Olena and Matei (Christina).
Sister to Walter (Ingrid), Olive, Bob, and the late Roy Antonyshyn.
The Leshchyshen family is very grateful to the wonderful palliative care team at Trillium Health Partners Hospital.
Funeral arrangements with Newediuk Funeral Home, Toronto with visitation on Monday, September 20, 2021. Divine Liturgy to take place on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at 11 a.m. at The Ukrainian Catholic Church of the Holy Protection of the Mother of God, 30 Leeds St., Toronto. Burial to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ukrainian Youth Association Charitable Trust – CYM, would be greatly appreciated by the family.
