EDWARD, Ernest "Ernie" Thomas - Passed away after a brief illness, with family by his side, on September 23, 2021, in Kingston, ON, at the age of 82.
Born in Colombo, Sri Lanka, on November 7, 1938, he immigrated to Canada in 1976.
He leaves behind his wife of 52 years Helen Sarojini, children, Rebecca (Jody), Sanjeeve (Suma), and grandchildren Anika, Charlotte and Noah.
Brother to siblings David (deceased), George (Saro), Effie (Reggie - deceased), Kingsley - deceased (Vino), Ivy, Devi (Opatha), and predeceased by parents Annamma and Thomas.
A loyal friend to all, there was nothing he loved more than spending time with loved ones.
Papa, you've already left a tremendous void, and we can't imagine our lives without you.
You will be greatly missed by everyone you touched including nieces, nephews friends and family, and everyone whose lives you touched with your overwhelming warmth and generosity.
We love you so very much and know that you will always be with us in our hearts and in our minds.
