Morgan AliceMORGAN, Alice (Yip) - Peacefully transitioned from this life to her next on October 6, 2021 at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre Palliative Care setting in Toronto, Canada in her 84thyear.

Alice was born in in Malaysia on August 2, 1938. She immigrated to the United States with the sponsorship of Mr. and Mrs. James Scott of Madison, Wisconsin in the early 1980s.

She first journeyed to Pittsburgh for work and then settled in the Cleveland area where she lived and worked in accounting until she moved to Canada in 1987.

There she met Peter Morgan, her future husband, and her future church family at Knox Presbyterian Church where she was a dedicated member. Alice later moved her membership to Leaside Presbyterian Church, where she was committed to serving God in various acts of kindness and found a special community of faith that became her close family.

Above all, Alice cherished her dog, Honey who was her best friend, God, her family and friends and then her favourite prime rib and Malaysian noodles.

She enjoyed long walks with Honey, her work with Honey doing therapy dog services, being in charge of the church’s community meals at Leaside and at Evangel Hall Mission along with spending time with her chosen family and friends.

She is survived by James C. Scott of Durham, Connecticut, Mia Scott of Denver, Colorado, Aaron Scott of Spokane, Washington, and Noah Scott of Chevy Chase, Maryland, her entire Leaside church family and all those who came to call Alice their friend.

Donations to remember Alice in lieu of flowers can be given to Leaside Presbyterian Church, 670 Eglinton Avenue East dedicated to Evangel Hall Mission Dinner Fund.

A Memorial Service to celebrate Alice’s life will be held on Zoom and in person for a small group of attendees on Tuesday, October 19 at 1 p.m. at Morley Bedford Funeral Home, Toronto.  A private Committal Service will immediately follow the service.
