Byers MaryBYERS, Mary Kathryn Noreen  - Mary Kathryn Noreen Byers, died October 26, 2021.

Noreen cared deeply for everyone she met. She helped so many people through difficult times with a hug, a kind word or a good laugh at the right time.

Noreen knew what you needed even without asking.

She brought people together.

She would organize events and call everyone to make sure they came with food.

She loved nothing more than being surrounded by friends and family. If you were lucky enough to know Noreen, she made your life better. She made the world better too.

Noreen passionately educated so many people about environmental causes, usually before they were ready to hear about them. She loved candy, camping, swearing and dancing. She was beautiful, courageous, funny and oh so much fun.

Noreen gave her time, energy and love to all of us, unconditionally. Nothing could be more beautiful. Noreen was an amazing mother, grandmother, sibling, daughter and friend.

She is survived by all of the people whose lives she improved just by knowing her.

Noreen left all of us and this world much better than how she found it. We will honour her by trying to be more like her. To care more and to make sure to take time for hugs, belly laughs and to reach out and help.

Noreen was born June 19, 1957 in Winchester, Ontario. She is gone too soon.

Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, October 29th, at Fairview Cemetery in Niagara Falls, in the Willow's Rest butterfly garden. There will be a celebration to honour her life on Saturday, October 30th at 4 p.m. at The Boot Restaurant, 579 Kerr St., Oakville, ON.

If you want to make a donation in her honour, please make one to Bruce Trail Conservancy.
