Nicholson AnnieLSON, Annie (Anne) Rosalie (nee HOLLANDS)   - August 31, 1918 - November 17, 2021

Our treasured lady died peacefully in her sleep early on November 17 in her 104th year.

She lived her first 83 years in Toronto, moving to Barrie in 2001.

Throughout her life, she loved walking and was active in many sports until arthritis in her spine slowed her down in her early 90s.Predeceased by her husband of 53 years, John Kenneth Nicholson, her parents Alice (Whitear) and Robert Hollands, siblings Robert Hollands, Violet Zachanko, and Mary Phoenix (and her much-loved cats, Patches and Minka), Annie will be lovingly missed by her daughters Nianne (Dale) and Sandra (Steve), and by her grandchildren Rebecca (Colin), Rachel (Bob), and Dana (Ina) and her great-grandchildren Alicia, Colby, Ashton, and Ronan.

Her many nieces and nephews will feel her loss, as will "daughter #3" Barb, former son-in-law David, and her friends at 37 Johnson.

We are so grateful for the loving care she received over the past 2 1/2 years from the wonderful team at Grove Park Home.

As per Annie's wishes, she has been cremated and a gathering to honour her will be arranged next summer.

Donations, if you wish, would be appreciated by Grove Park Home or an animal charity of your choice.
