SUTHERLAND, Richard Wade Sage - Richard Wade Sage Sutherland, passed away January 21, 2022, at the age of 80.
He received his PhD in Irish History at Trinity College Dublin, was a medical writer with the Medical Post and the Heart & Stroke Foundation, an ardent jazz enthusiast, and a noted raconteur.
He was preceeded in death by his son, Ivan, and is survived by cherished family in Scotland, England, Tasmania, and the US, and many friends and former colleagues in Toronto.
Family greatly appreciates the kind staff at Ewart Angus, his caregivers Davina and Mark from Premier Homecare Services, and the wonderful nurses and doctors at Toronto General Hospital.
A memorial service will be arranged sometime in the future.
