Van Den Berg JacobudVAN DEN BERG, Jacobud (Jack) Josephus   -  Passed away peacefully, at Unionvilla Long Term Care in Markham, on Friday, January 21, 2022.

Jack, in his 100th year, was the beloved husband of the late Adriana (née van Bergen).

Loving father of the late Jack van den Berg Jr. (Kathy), the late Diane van den Berg and Peter van den Berg (Carole).

Cherished Opa of the late Rebecca Ravins, the late Arron Ravins, Jacob (Jack) van den Berg, and Matthew van den Berg.

Jack is remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends, as a man who would be there to help others in any way he could.

In his early years, he was a carpenter and cabinet maker, examples of his work could be found in his friend's and family's homes.

Jack was known for his sense of humor and made lifelong friends in all in the communities he touched.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, February 5, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. A Reception will follow at Celebrations, 35 Lindsay Street North.

If desired, in lieu of flowers, the family is requesting a memorial donation to the Alzheimer Society of Canada would be appreciated.
