Wildling CyrilWILDLING, Cyril (Cy)  -  1931 - 2022  Cyril Wilding, at the age of 91 years, passed away peacefully, at Trillium Health Partners, Mississauga Site, on April 16, 2022.

His daughters Christine and Cindy were by his side.

Born to a large family in Toronto, Cy was the youngest child of Harry and Lillian (nee Parkinson) Wilding. His siblings were Harry, Arthur, Olive, Eva, Lillian and Marjorie.

His older sister Lillian Lee is now the only surviving sibling.

After returning from active duty with the Royal Canadian Regiment in Korea, Cy married the love of his life, Joyce Margaret Stevens in June of 1952.

The couple briefly resided in London, Ontario, and in Montreal, Quebec, before eventually settling in Etobicoke, Ontario, to raise three daughters: Jennifer Lynn (Leslie Prawdzik), Cynthia Joyce (Karyn Hand), and Christine Dianne. His beloved wife Joyce and his eldest daughter Jennifer both preceded Cy in death.

Cy leaves behind four grandchildren who count themselves blessed to have had time with such a kind, loving and fun grandpa: Catherine, Victoria, Julian and Noel will always hold grandpa in their hearts.

Cy had a successful lifelong career in sales and marketing within the cosmetics and toiletries industry.

He did not complete high school, yet was able to work his way up the corporate ladder from office errand boy to Vice President of Beecham Canada.

He was funny and silly, loved to tell corny jokes and loved to gently tease his children and grandchildren. The world was a better place because of Cy.

A celebration of life will take place at later date.
