Parro TonyPARRO, Tony  - January 29, 1925 – May 5, 2022

Peacefully, of natural causes at Sunnybrook Veterans Centre.

Survived by his children, Dyan Parro, and Paul Parro (Mary Parro); grandchildren, Michelle Greco (Tony Greco), Renee Baird (Dan Baird), and Nicole Parro; great-grandchildren, Marissa, Serina and Paolo Greco, Chelsea, Malcom and Domenic Baird; brother, Albert Parro; and sister, Elizabeth DiCecco.

Predeceased by his wife, Viola Parro.

Tony had a very long life, happily living in his house until two years ago.

He loved his vegetable garden and liked to work on his favourite hobbies: stamp collecting, scrap booking and taking pictures for his vast collection of photo albums.

He went through many transitions in his long life and always maintained his good spirit and sense of humour throughout. He will be remembered for his homemade pies and his pizza.

All Funeral Services will be held on Monday, May 9th at Assumption Cemetery. There will be a viewing held from 12-2 p.m., followed by a short service and interment.

In lieu of flowers, Tony's favourite charities include the Heart & Stroke Foundation and Princess Margaret Hospital.

Many thanks to all the caring nurses, doctors and activity aids, at Sunnybrook Veterans Centre; they ensured that Tony's final two years were the best that they could be.

And a special thank you to Janet, who maintained the beautiful gardens, where Tony grew his own tomato plants.
