Trist FlorenceTRIST, Florence (nee FOSTER)   -  In her 97th year, Florence (Foster) Trist passed away peacefully on May 2, 2022, at Amica Bayview Gardens.

Only adored child of the late Lawrence Tom Foster "LT" and Eva Mary McClelland. Beloved wife for 72 years to Jack A. Trist.

Dear and much-loved mother to John Trist and his wife, Cheryl; and to Kathy and her husband, Paul Richardson.

Loving grandma to Michael Richardson and his fiancée, Lindsay; and to Jan Richardson and her fiancé, Brandon.

Florence would have so enjoyed attending these two upcoming weddings! Dear aunt of Dawn Rivait, William Simpson, Marian Simpson and their families.

Florence was a proud RN graduate of the Class of "1947" from Hamilton General Hospital.

Longtime active member of IODE. Enjoyed golf at Thornhill Country Club, skiing at Devil's Glen Country Club, and Bridge Games with Lunch at the Granite Club with her many dear friends.

Florence had a wonderful long and happy life with Jack and they travelled the world.

A Special Thank You to Florence's caregivers for their compassion and care: Francisca, Noemi, Leilani and Ainie.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Jack and Florence Trist, on Tuesday, August 22nd, from 3:00-6:00 p.m. at The Thornhill Club, 7994 Yonge St., Thornhill, ON. Please join the family for this event. Memories will be shared at 4:30 p.m.
